What a Victory! They didn’t just win, they made history.
I veered away from the game several years ago as My life changed and when the generation of players I was accustomed to seeing on the court began leaving the league. But I’ve been rooting for the Cavaliers since last year. As an ex highschool/college basketball player who’s been dribbling a basketball since age 5, I know a lil’ something about this game. I was an avid NBA game watcher and serious card collector. I was also a devout Michael Jordan/Scottie Pippen CHICAGO BULLS Fan and let the record show, in their prime there was not a professional ball club that could touch them!!…point, blank, and the period.
Why is LeBron James so hated among basketball fans, idk…but the notion is absurd and unfounded if you ask me. Although he has a few areas in his game he could improve, he’s a great player, is said to be a great person, and most of all seems to be a great husband and father.
What drew me to LeBron and the Cavaliers is his loyalty. That tells a lot about a person. He turned down major deals w/a whole lot of zeros at the end of them and excepted a humble contract from Cleveland just to go back home and vow to resurrect the city of Cleveland from a half a century no sports title death. Do you understand that there has not been a championship title won by not one of Cleveland’s pro sports teams in over 50 years?!!! And that they were the 1st team in NBA history to ever come back from a 3-1 deficit and win the championship?!!!
Last year LeBron technically carried the team by himself all the way to the finals. With some of his team members out with injuries, He played all 4 quarters every game, he was exhausted, he looked like a rag doll on that court. The Warriors played and won the championship against one man in 2015. When I saw what LeBron did by himself not only did he earn my respect, but I knew then with a little help that the CAVS stood to make history. And Kyrie Irving(special shout out to this man…he was straight BALLIN’in the finals ππΎππΎππ―)
J.R Smith, Kevin Love, Tristan Thompson, and Iman Shumpert in particular proved to be the perfect dosage of help needed to secure a long awaited and deserved title. Job well done you deserved it ClevelandππΎππΎππΎ Bask in the benefits and success this historical win has brought to your careers and ultimately always use your powers for good. LETS GO CAVS!!! #cavsnation #Allin
