The Lakers gone get that Ball, then they gone get that 🏀” 😂🙌🏽. The epitome of speaking something into existense. Lavar Ball may be a lot of things but a bad father he most certainly is not and might I add a very smart (business) man he is at that. The corruptness of a dying world and American society to spew disdain for a father entranced and entirely convicted in the belief that his seeds are greats never ceases to amaze me. I applaud the genuine “presence” and positive intent of a father in his child’s life above all. A black man is ridiculed for his lack of involvement in his child’s life, and now also for his excessiveness in it. The absurd-ness and mutiny in the idea that because some or everybody does not share a parents’ belief that their child is everything great that they feel and know they are, they should cool off their enthusiasm in that truth. Malarkey! Any parent that possesses immense love for their child should in spirit feel exactly like Lavar Ball does about his children. Though we all are unique in character may display or convey that feeling differently, we should all nevertheless have that same forever burning fire of belief in our children’s potential greatness and everyone should be aware of it.

Here you have a world entirely influenced and swayed by the media telling them what to believe, what/who to like and dislike & why, what to wear, who’s the best, who’s the worst, who deserves respect and who doesn’t, what to do with your money, what to accept, and not accept etcétera etcétera…the media didn’t get to give the stamp approval that Lonzo Ball was a “somebody” and that it was ok for the world to pay $495 for his shoes so, they reject the notion that The Ball’s would have the audacity to try to create their own legacy and brand without submission and subservience to them first.

Lavar Ball has changed the culture and business of pro athlete endorsements forever. Lavar aided in his son Lonzo Ball making history as the first pro athlete to ever enter the pro league already having his own brand and shoes. Every pro athlete elite enough for an endorsement deal is his own brand. They’re the product. The reason millions want to wear their team paraphernalia, their jerseys, their shoes, yet the endorsement companies get the cream of the profit crop and distribute them a portion of that.

Lonzo Ball and family can charge whatever they feel the merchandise that they created and produced is worth. Who cares if at $495 they cost more than Lebron’s shoes, or Air Jordan’s, or a luivitton passport holder. There’s no correlation there what so ever. Nike and Lui Vuitton chose the price they feel their product is worth and will return the best profit. $495 is what the Ball’s feel their product is worth and will assure them a good profit. Yet, in actuality price tags don’t even matter at all in the grand scheme of things because, if someone wants something and they can afford it they will get it regardless of the price, and if they don’t, they won’t. Simple as that. A creator can conjur up whatever price they want for their products, $75,000.00 or $5.00. The Buyer’s will be the ones who have and want it, no other consumers matter, period. I suppose if the Ball’s owned fully equipped factories, hundreds of labor workers, and a slew of highly skilled designers at their disposal to mass produce the Big Baller Brand’s products for a fraction of a fraction of their product retail prices maybe they would decide to lower their product prices. Do I like the ZO2’s? Not really, because I don’t care for the style of low cut basketball shoes. Would I buy them? If my budget ever allows the room for it, Yes, to support the building and belief in a family legacy and empire against all odds of society’s conformation and approval, because Lonzo no doubt has potential to be one of NBA’s greatest, and because the ZO2’s come in a cool lucite display box 😁.
